About Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU):

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU), named after the famous poet-laureate and scholar Professor P. Sundaram Pillai was established on Sep 7, 1990.
UGC approved & NAAC accredited, the University has a strong network of over 60 affiliated colleges, 5 Mano Colleges and 1 Constituent College.
Situated in a campus sprawling over 550 acres, the university has facilities which include hostel for boys & girls, a fully automated library, Canteen, Guest house, a bank  & a Post office to name a few.
All the University departments are receiving funded research projects from within India & from global agencies in European Union, UNICEF, USA & Japan.
